You can also do the same thing for the other dictionaries listed here. CodeSpells’ story line is simple: the player is a wizard who wakes up in a strange place populated by gnome-like creatures. She (or he) has been sent here to learn the ways of magic. The gnomes used to have magic, but lost it at some point. The wizard must help them. She writes spells in Java.

As we use the CodeSpells Authoring Tools to create new tech demos, experiences, games, and educational environments, we'll add them below.

Rune Collections

Formerly known as the Arena of the Golden Sun, this Arena has been used by Wizards across the multiverse since the First Epoch as a training ground for the development and testing of new Rune Collections. The world is large enough for most spell development.

In its current form, we estimate this build to be worth about 3 minutes of fun. Try filling the arena with particles.

Rune Collections

Built during the First Epoch when wizards could not yet build infinite worlds, the Cave of Shorengard the Great holds many mysteries. It is said that this is where Kyri the Enchantress drew her last breath over ten thousand years ago. But that is a tale for another time…

In its current form, we estimate this build to be worth about 3 minutes of fun. Explore the nooks and crannies of the cave. Listen to the sounds. Discover that you can escape the level and fall into infinity.

Rune Collections

Strange and beautiful magic has sculpted the landscape of this world with angles and sharp edges. Many a wizard has been inspired to produce geometrically structured spells in this environment. Designed by a powerful warlock during the Second Epoch, this one of the first endless universes.

In its current form, we estimate this build to be worth about 5 minutes of fun. Walk through the infinite world. Fall into ravines. Try to get out again. Grumble that we have not yet added the teleport Rune to this build.

Rune Collections

This tiny universe was created near the end of the First Epoch by an unknown wizard. Since its re-discovery, it has been considered a work of art of the early days of magic.

In its current form, we estimate this build to be worth about 2 minutes of fun. Try lighting the river on fire!

Built in the First Epoch, the Temple of Ji is a traditionally used by wizards meditating on rune crafting. Many new runes have been conceptualized in this space.

In its current form, we estimate this build to be worth about 2 minutes of fun. Try filling the temple with spawners!

The Village of Acostia was designed by Tomh the Enchanter. This playful little village is often used as a setting in beginning spellcrafting courses at the Low Stacks Academy.

A cold, forbidding place: it is not known which wizard crafted this world, but clearly the work is from the First Epoch because the facility is tightly bounded.
