The Chestburster is THE, I mean The ultimateweapon. It is a plasma weapon, uses energyrounds, is an automatic which uses 5 rounds pershot, and has a lethal embreyo which murders theperson as a worm comes out of the opponents chest.As you use it you'll see. I had to beat Syra withthe Captain, or the kings first form. It killsany enemy in one hit (I used it on Syra) and evenif the person has the INVULNERABLE status. I knowhow to counteract the Embreyo, but you'll have tofind out for your self. I got the captain orwhatever by beating the game with the Fireborn.When you get it, only you can use it since it'son your data. I had to beat ALOT of people to getit. It will take over 6 months which it took meunless your quick. But, now that you know this,it will be fast.

In multiplyer you can get medals. The more medalsyou get, you can have access to new skins andother cheats like infinite ammo.

First, get 500 frags. At the main menu, go intocontrol pak. Go into copy players and copy theperson that has 500 frags into all four slots.Then, go into load players. Load all four playersinto all four slots. Go back into the main menuand presto! the game 'thinks' you have 2000 frags!

First, get the minigun. Get the shield ability. Unlock the infinite ammunitionability. (Get 2000 frags and press Z at the main menu.) While you are playing, take out the minigun. Press B for the sheild ability. (I took a piece of tape and put it over the B button.) Now, you have infinite health! (Only downside is that it doesn't work in lava.)

You can get medals in multi-player mode by simply setting a frag limit andwinning that match. You also get four medals in single player trial mode bydefeating Bastille, Syra, Simbiont and Tal Set.

Successfully complete single player trial mode with Turok to unlock anothercharacter in single player trial mode. Each time that this is done, anothercharacter will also be unlocked in the multi-player mode.

At the title screen, press Z to display the cheat menu. Accumulate 2000 fragstotal with all the characters to unlock all the cheats in the menu. To unlock allthe options quickly, build a saved game with a character that has over 500 frags.Copy that character into the three other slots on the controller pak. Then, loadall four of these cloned players to the game. All cheats will now be available inthe menu since the combined frag count will be over 2000.

To swim faster tap the C-pad up instead of holding it down. (Hint: This dosen't work on the ground)

Three issues ago, Quartermann got the exclusive scoop on Acclaim's next game in the mega-popular Turok franchise, Turok: Rage Wars (formerly Turok: Bloodlust). Here are the first screens of it in action.

As Qmann previously reported, Rage Wars (due out this November) will concentrate on the multiplayer side of things. The game will have 17 playable characters, 36 deathmatch maps and loads of new items and weapons. Some of the things you'll find include magnets (which are used to change the trajectory of gunfire) and war hammers with grenades on the ends of them (which explode on contact...almost as deadly as attack dogs that shoot bees out of their mouths when they bark).

The game will also have a bunch of modes including Capture the Flag, team play and an improved Frag Tag, where the monkey is no longer helpless (it can get a power-up that will allow it to grow into a monster).

Rage Wars will have an awards system as well, where you get medals for wins, head shots, kills, etc. You'll be able to unlock secrets (like new character models (i.e., 'skins') by earning enough medals.

This all sounds fine and dandy, but if you remember Turok 2, the four-player game left a lot to be desired. 'Turok: Rage Wars will be much faster and smoother than the Turok 2 deathmatch game,' David Dienstbier, creative director at Acclaim Studios-Austin (formerly Iguana), tells us. 'We will be caching entire levels in RAM, making everything run much better than they did in Turok 2.' Let's hope so.

And if four-player deathmatch isn't your thing, Rage Wars will have a single-player game (arena-type combat with CPU-controlled bots) and a two-player co-op mode.
